Here are some craft projects for kids.
Rain hat craft – you need a plastic gallon milk jug and some supplies to decorate. Take a plastic gallon milk jug and cut off the sprout and curve up around and take off the handle. Now you can use markers, stickers to decorate it.
Denim basket for father’s day – you need a pair of blue jeans, Easter basket, old pair of boxer shorts, material, 2 pieces of felt, hot glue gun, white graft glue, scissors. Cover the handle of the basket with the elastic band from boxer shorts; cut jeans into sections and hot glue onto and inside the basket; line the inside of the basket by gluing it with felt; cut two stips from the seams of the jeans and tie them at the bottom of each eand of the basket handle; cut squares from boxer shorts to cover up the gaps; fill with goodies for dad.
Meat Tray Collage – you need styrofoam meat trays, glue, scrap material, buttons, plastic animals. Use the styrofoam meat tray as a base for the collage and put a few containers of scrap material, buttons, and plastic animals, and some little squeeze bottles of glue.
Twig Dolls – you need twigs, leaves, seedpods, moss, rocks, and wire, pipe cleaners, and scissors. Now you can decorate your doll with leaves. Attach the clothing with wire or pipe cleaners. And you can use moss and small rocks for hair and face. Gather more sticks to make a whole twig family.
Summer Birdhouse – you need oatmeal container, scissors, ribbon, white glue, brown paper bag, twigs, leaves, birdseed. To build a summer birdhouse, punch a hole in the middle of an oatmeal container lid and string both ends of a ribbon through. Tie a large knot underneath the lid, creating a loop on top. Glue the lid of the ocntainer onto the base. Glue brown paper to the sides of the container and decorate the roof with sticks and leaves. And cut a bird sized rectangular door on one side of the container. Now it is time to fill the house with birdseed and hang in a tree.
