The difference between poor fabric and fine fabric is finer fabric usually drape better, feel softer, and look less shiny. The wrinkle factor is also another factor. To assess that, you can gather a handful and squeeze it in your fist for five seconds, and release it. If it looks rumpled, then it is not that good.
